The Ukraine Crisis Appeal is proud to announce that its recent six-week online auction successfully raised $19,000 to provide life-changing aid for victims of the war in Ukraine.
The auction, a collaborative team effort led by Liana Slipetsky, with the support of Lily Semciw and Teresa Lachowicz, featured over 140 donated items.
The success of this fundraiser was made possible by the incredible generosity of individuals, businesses, and corporations. Donations poured in, creating a diverse collection of items, including vintage Ukrainian ceramics, embroidered goods, art, wines, spirits, clothing, and various vouchers for spas, restaurants, and unique hampers.
Ukrainians and Australians alike showed immense solidarity, actively bidding on the items and contributing to the final total, which was also boosted by additional donations.
This success would not have been possible without the heartfelt generosity of every single donor and the active participation of all who bid. Your contributions will make a tangible difference in the lives of those who have lost so much.
