The Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) expresses its deepest sympathy for the victims of the devastating earthquake which has rocked Türkiye and Syria.
We are deeply sorry for the loss of life and the humanitarian crisis which is unfolding – the pressing need for aid and rescue missions, the hundreds of thousands left without homes in the freezing cold, the many more who require urgent medical help, and the acute need for food and water.
We call upon members of the Ukrainian-Australian community to give generously to efforts to provide disaster relief.
