📈 AFUO research – quoted in the media – revealed the Proteus Stephanie tanker, which docked at Port Botany last Sunday, sent $12.5 million to the Kremlin. Since July, 8 blood oil shipments to Australia have generated $123.4 million to fund russian terror.
🤝🏻 Expert coordination: We’ve worked closely with oil experts like the @Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA), Mark Corrigan (Hobart), Dr Anton Moiseienko (ANU) and legal advisors to strengthen the case for reform.
🪧 Protests & media impact: When tankers carrying russian-linked fuel neared our shores, community members and supporters in Sydney and Perth stood up – gaining coverage in local, state and national media.
🏛 Political advocacy: Following a letter to all MPs in Parliament, the AFUO continues to engage with the Foreign Minister, Assistant Foreign Minister, the Opposition, and key MPs, calling for decisive action.
