Around Australia, Ukrainian-Australians, displaced Ukrainians and supporters of Ukraine gathered together to celebrate Malanka – Ukrainian New Year – on January 13 and 14.
Following a difficult year, it was important for the community to be together, encourage positivity and resilience, and be heartened by the beauty and timelessness of Ukrainian traditions and culture.
Most importantly, it was also a time for the community to renew its commitment to supporting Ukraine in its heroic resistance against russian aggression. Funds were raised at many of the events for charities such as the Ukraine Crisis Appeal, U Help and United 24.

13 та 14 січня по всій Австралії місцеві українці, новоприбулі та люди, котрі пітримують Україну зустрілися разом, щоб відсвяткувати Маланку – Старий Новий рік.
Після важкого року громаді було важливо бути разом, підтримати позитив та стійкість, і надихнутись вічною красою української традиції та культури.
Найважливіше те, що це був також час для громади, щоб виразити свою постійну підтримку Україні. Особливо в цей час її героїчного опору російській агресії. Кошти збирали на багатьох заходах для благодійних організацій, таких як Ukraine Crisis Appeal, U Help і United 24.
