Thank you to The Australian for sharing Lieutenant Viktoriia “Malvina” Savkiv’s story today.
In the feature, Viktoriia talks about losing friends, losing her youth, and why she keeps returning to the front line – “Unfortunately, Ukraine has an aggressor neighbour, the russian federation, that decided to take from Ukrainians the ability and the right to have a peaceful, normal life.”
This is what young Ukrainians are sacrificing every day so their country can remain free.

Viktoriia is currently visiting Australia to help mark 35 years of Ukraine’s independence, to thank Australians for their support and to raise awareness about russia’s ongoing invasion.

Support the cause: We’re raising $10,000 to buy EcoFlow power systems for Viktoriia’s 214th Separate Assault Battalion “OPFOR.” EcoFlow powers their communications, charges their drones, and keeps their medics working after dark.
