Barbaric russian strikes on homes, vehicles, and civilian infrastructure — apartment blocks on fire, an ambulance depot hit, families sheltering from ballistic missiles.
At least nine people killed and dozens injured in Kyiv this weekend alone, as Ukraine ran out of interceptors for its US-supplied Patriot air defence systems — of 27 ballistic missiles fired by russia, only one could be shot down.
We urge all of Ukraine’s allies — including our own government — to provide everything required to help Ukraine protect its neighbourhoods and civilian infrastructure, starting with more Patriot missiles.
And in Australia, the Anthony Albanese Government must close the loophole that allows russian-derived fuel to be sold here, generating revenue for the russian war machine. That trade has delivered more than $2.45 billion (AUD) to the Kremlin from Australia — more than Australia’s total aid to Ukraine.
Cutting off the money is as vital as sending the missiles.
