To the mothers of our diaspora – here in Australia and across generations – who have raised and continue to raise their children to know Ukraine, to speak its language, to hold its culture close – thank you for keeping the flame alive.
And today, our deepest thoughts are with the mothers who carry the heaviest burden of all – those who have lost their beloved children to russia’s brutal and unjust war. Your loss is immeasurable. Ukraine remembers. We remember.
