Our much loved Ukrainian-Australian soprano and bandura player, Larissa Kovalchuk (Larysa Kovalchuk), will be appearing on Channel 7’s The Voice Australia tomorrow night (Tuesday) at 7:30pm! (AEST)
Larissa studied voice, bandura and conducting at Ukraine’s leading Kyiv Conservatorium of Music, and has performed in numerous festivals in Ukraine and Europe.
In Australia, Larissa has performed widely at festivals, recorded with SBS and ABC RN, and has played in concerts with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra. She is currently Leading Voice Teacher at the Riverina Conservatorium of Music in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
