The Holodomor Legacy Initiative (HLI) supports high-quality research on the Holodomor to increase understanding and global awareness of this genocide.
Funded by Global Affairs Canada and implemented by Cowater International and the Canada-Ukraine Foundation, “Support to Ukraine’s National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide” is holding an open competition to support the production of highly professional scholarly work on the Holodomor.
Researchers are invited to submit a brief summary of their proposed study, including objectives, methods, and significance. Selected applicants will receive funding and present their work at the Holodomor Legacy Symposium in Canada (May 2026), with travel and accommodation expenses supported.
