Senator Catryna Bilyk, Chair of the Australia Ukraine Parliamentary Friendship Group, has led 31 Federal Australian Parliamentarians to participate in the Postcards to the Front campaign – sending messages of support and solidarity to the brave Ukrainian soldiers, doctors, nurses and others on the front line of russia’s war against Ukraine.
Postcards to the Front is a small Ukrainian-founded project aimed at supporting soldiers “with warm words”. One of the Ukrainian organisers, Ms Tamara Levit, has said ‘Even [the] strongest men are crying when [they] read some of them.”
Postcards have been sent from all over the world, including Poland, Germany, Brazil and Australia.
