The Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) has written letters to the Antenna Documentary Film Festival government, festival, venue and cultural partners to call on them to stand with Ukraine against pro-Russian propaganda by using their powerful voices to have Russians at War pulled from the program. If it is not, the AFUO has encouraged these entities to withdraw their support from the festival.
To not act now is to align government, cultural institutions and businesses with narratives sympathetic to and supportive of the Kremlin.
