Parliament of NSW forms NSW Parliamentary Friendship Group of Ukraine, with AFUO Chair & Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Sydney, Kateryna Argyrou, as guest of honour
The group’s establishment will strengthen parliamentary engagement, government cooperation, and expand cultural and trade connections between NSW and Ukraine. It also recognises the lasting impact of our vibrant Australian-Ukrainian community on the social, cultural, and economic life of NSW.
The Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) extends its heartfelt appreciation to Speaker of the NSW Legislative Assembly Greg Piper and the President of the Legislative Council Ben Franklin for their leadership in launching and co-chairing this inaugural Parliamentary Friendship Group!
