This past weekend’s “Stand with Ukraine” concerts in Adelaide were pure heart, defiance, and beauty. Behind every powerful harmony and breathtaking movement were hundreds of unseen hours poured into rehearsals — an extraordinary gift of time, energy, and love from everyone involved.
Every note sung by the Kashtan Ukrainian Song Ensemble, every chord struck, and every fiery step danced by the Volya Ukrainian Cossack Dancers was a living symbol of our unyielding spirit and Ukraine’s ultimate victory. Through your passion, you reminded the world that our culture cannot be dimmed, silenced, or broken.
The Ukraine Crisis Appeal, together with the many victims of war you are supporting, extends heartfelt gratitude to Kashtan Artistic Director Stephen Misiajlo; Michelle Gorgula, Artistic Director of Volya; and to every single singer, musician, dancer, and volunteer who gave so much to make these productions possible. You did not just share a performance — you held our community together, lifted our spirits, and stood proudly with Ukraine.
