A national Ukrainian film festival — powered by volunteers, brought to life by AFUO member organisations, and embraced by thousands of Australians.
The 2026 Ukrainian Film Festival Australia (UFFA) reached:
🎬 7 cities — Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney
🎥 9 Ukrainian films
🍿 43 screenings
👥 2,500+ attendees
But the impact went far beyond the cinema.
Together, audiences and supporters raised more than $100,000 during the festival:
💙 $69,000+ for the Ukrainian Crisis Appeal
💛 $31,000+ for Future Ukraine
This was truly a national community effort — led by AFUO member organisations and local communities, and made possible by an incredible team of volunteers across Australia.
