On 10 July, under the initiative of the Order of St Panteleimon and with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Ukrainians around the world will honour and remember all healthcare professionals who have lost their lives while carrying out their professional duty during russia’s war against Ukraine.
On this day, we invite all Australians to take a moment to light a candle, say a prayer, and pay tribute to the doctors, nurses, paramedics, and all healthcare workers who have given their lives in this unjust war.
We thank the Order of St Panteleimon Committee – Australia for initiating and requesting Panakhydy (memorial services) in Ukrainian Orthodox and Ukrainian Catholic Churches across Australia.
