As Ukrainian-Australians, we watched Eurovision 2026 with double the pride and double the heart!
Our beloved Ukraine — represented by Leléka with the moving “Ridnym” — once again qualified and placed 9th on the world’s biggest music stage. At a profoundly difficult time for Ukraine and its people, moments of cultural expression and visibility continue to carry profound significance.
Australia’s Delta Goodrem delivered a stunning performance of “Eclipse” finishing an incredible 4th place in the Grand Final — one of Australia’s best Eurovision results ever!
And a huge congratulations to Bulgaria whose Dara claimed the title with “Bangaranga” — a high-energy anthem infused with Bulgarian folk influences and the country’s first ever Eurovision victory.
Well done to all artists and organisers who made this year’s Eurovision a memorable celebration of music, culture and unity.
