Nataliia is a mother of three from the Zaporizhzhia region. For two years, her family lived under occupation – without certainty, without safety, and under constant stress. When they finally escaped, they crossed the grey zone on foot, carrying just three backpacks with clothes and documents. That was everything they had.

Today, the family lives in one of the most dangerous districts of Zaporizhzhia, where shelling is part of daily life. Power outages last for hours. Online schooling stops. The internet disappears. Fear becomes louder.
Thanks to an EcoFlow power station provided through the Ukraine Crisis Appeal, Nataliia’s family can stay connected, keep the children learning, and find moments of calm – even during blackouts.
“Now I feel calmer. If the children run out of charge, they just plug in and keep studying. In the evening, we can turn on the lights, a movie or cartoons, and just be together.”
This support was made possible by generous donors to Ukraine Crisis Appeal, powered by RAWCS – Rotary Australia World Community Service, and supported by the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations. To date we have raised over $300,000.
Your support doesn’t just provide electricity – it gives families a sense of control and safety in the most difficult conditions.
