Marko Pavlyshyn, Australian-Ukrainian academic from Monash University explores the literary activity, transmission of values and plight of the homeland of the Ukrainian writers’ community in Australia in the 1950-1990s, as well as today.

Marko Pavlyshyn is Emeritus Professor of Ukrainian Studies at Monash University. He is the author of Ukrainian Literature: A Wartime Guide for Anglophone Readers and many publications on modern and contemporary Ukrainian literature. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities and an International Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
