On 22 November, the global Ukrainian community will commemorate the anniversary of the Ukrainian Holodomor – a man-made famine, orchestrated by the Soviet dictator Stalin, which caused the death of millions of Ukrainians in 1932-33.
Around the world, Ukrainians are encouraged to light a candle on the evening of Saturday 22 November in memory of the victims of the Holodomor.

In Australia, commemorations and church memorial services have been planned around the country: here
