Following Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations discussions yesterday with an SBS Board Director, and our meeting this morning with SBS Director of News and Current Affairs, SBS has addressed our concerns and updated a recent article about russian oil.
The changes implemented reflect those requested by the AFUO:

We appreciate SBS’s swift response to concerns of russian propaganda we raised on behalf of our community and their commitment to responsible journalism.
The AFUO will continue to raise awareness among Australians about the russian oil trade in Australia; advocate for the Albanese Government to end Australia’s indirect financing of the russian war machine; and push for corporate responsibility.
