At the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome, Andrew “Twiggy” Forrest – one of Australia’s leading philanthropists – announced a new $5 million package from the Minderoo Foundation to help revitalise Ukraine’s agricultural sector.

This new funding will:
Support large-scale demining in Kharkiv, Mykolaiv & Dnipro
Rebuild Ukraine’s farming sector with modern policies
Fast-track climate-resilient tech & skills training
Keep Ukraine’s grain flowing to food-insecure countries
With over $30 million committed since 2022, Minderoo continues to lead by example – turning generosity into real impact.
But Twiggy’s support doesn’t stop there — he’s been a strong critic of the russian oil loophole, joining the AFUO in calling out Australia’s continued fuel imports that fund Putin’s war machine.
#StopFuellingrussiasWar:
$1.85bn+ in taxes to Putin via oil since Feb 2023*
$6bn+ in refined oil imports from India using russian crude since Feb 2023*
More $$ to russia than in aid to Ukraine
Let’s follow Twiggy’s lead. Close the loophole. Support Ukraine’s future.
