Third week into the new kadentsiia and we have some more progress to report on! 
Firstly, I would like to congratulate our State Hromady for hosting beautiful “Svyato Shevchenka” around the country! We have immense community talent, something we can be extremely proud of! I had the pleasure of attending the event hosted by Ukrainian Council of NSW – ОУГ НПВ (UCNSW) at CYM Sydney and it was a real treat – our talented community was on full display.
Grateful to UCNSW for raising $1,410 that will go towards rehabilitation treatment for our defender Nazar “Kapa.”
Delivered non-lethal military aid to Ukraine – this week a reconnaissance drone was delivered to the 68th Brigade. Thank you to Natalie Oleksyn & Blue and Yellow Hearts / Синьо-жовті Серця for sponsoring this particular drone, to Tetiana Koldunenko for the beautiful drawing, and to Ivan Rymovskyy, Mariia Klymoniuk, Andrii Popyk for assisting with the delivery process!
Held a number of calls this week – strategy, planning & coordination. Also held a call to provide strategic feedback about our community co-op @Dnister Ukrainian Credit Co-operative.
Filmed some scenes for our next Defend Ukraine Appeal fundraiser – thank you to the DUA Working Group for their tireless efforts!
Participated in discussions with Screencraft Media about Forged in Fire 2 – the second instalment of the compelling documentary exploring the deep ties between Australia and Ukraine, which was broadcast on Channel 9 in December 2023.
