We would like to share some important news about how we are helping sick and vulnerable Ukrainian children.
Recently, the AFUO’s Ukraine Crisis Appeal had the privilege of connecting with the Ukrainian charity Tabletochki during their visit to Sydney, Australia. This remarkable organisation is dedicated to treating and supporting children battling cancer in Ukraine, providing not only medical care but also emotional and practical support to their families.
To support their vital work, the Ukraine Crisis Appeal is proud to announce that a $100,000 donation was provided to Tabletochki earlier this year. This contribution will fund neurosurgical treatment for 40 children suffering from brain and spinal cord cancer. It is one of the most common and most dangerous oncological diseases in children. The war has made young Ukrainians facing this disease even more vulnerable, jeopardising access to medicines and supplies, and putting their lives at even more risk.
We are honoured to support Tabletochki’s efforts in treating children and giving them a brighter, healthier future. Together, we can make a difference! 🤝🏻
Thank you for your continued support in our mission to support Ukrainians in need. Stay tuned for more updates about this and other important projects we are funding.
