The Hopak in the Park Ukrainian Festival will be a vibrant, exciting, fun-filled afternoon showcasing local and international Ukrainian dance ensembles in a cabaret style environment.
Highlights will include international guest artists ZIRKA Ukrainian Band from Toronto, Canada; traditional Ukrainian cuisine and beverages; local comedians with a Ukrainian flavour; and a variety of cultural performance groups to celebrate the diversity and dynamism of multicultural Australia.
Festivities will continue in the evening with ZIRKA at the Hopak in the Park Zabava, to be held at the Ukrainian Hall, 3-11 Russell St, Essendon.
