Association of Ukrainians in Victoria - Art With Ukraine in my Heart
AFUO member organisations have provided visa, resettlement, employment and educational assistance and organised events to showcase the warmth and hospitality that Australia offers to those seeking a fresh start. Over the last month:
- the Association of Ukrainians in Victoria held an information night with Victoria Police and other agencies about jobs, legal rights and available social support services
- the Ukrainian Council of NSW and the Ukrainian Women’s Association of SA held hugely successful “Ukrainian Family Fun Days”, with kids activities, performances, food and much more
- the Association of Ukrainians in Victoria continues to run a community project “Art with Ukraine in the Heart” for displaced Ukrainian kids and their local friends – with the art to be displayed at the Royal Melbourne Show!
