KAZKA was created by Melanie Moravski Dechnicz, one of only two Australian-born recipients of the ‘Merited Artist of Ukraine’ award. Together with her creative artistic team, Melanie presents a unique full-length folk ballet that captivates and engages young and old alike. It’s a tale of love, betrayal and supernatural spirits, where woodland creatures dance in the moonlight and beautiful maidens toss garlands of flowers into a river, yearning for their lovers to appear.
KAZKA is an exciting and innovative production, performed by a stellar cast of 40 outstanding dancers. Lehenda’s Australian and North American tours have seen sold out theatres.
