It is with great sadness that the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) informs the community that an era of Ukrainian dance in Australia has come to an end with the passing of

Marina  Berezowsky

in her sleep peacefully on 18 June 2011

 

She had a great impact on Ukrainian dance in Australia

– Kolobok in the 70’s ,Bayda Kozaks in the 80’s  and others

She devoted her life to Arts and taught at the Australian Ballet for many years  and gained  respected in the Arts in Australia  

A memorial   is being organized in Melbourne to celebrate her life and remember her contribution.

The AFUO will disseminate this information once received
