The Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) has issued a media release regarding rallies to be held in Australia supporting the people of Ukraine have come out in force to protest against the Government who reneged on signing an agreement with the European Union – against the wishes of the people. Hundreds of thousands of protesters have gathered in Kyiv’s Independence Square and in other cities to demand a reversal of the decision. Similar rallies are also being held throughout Europe, Canada, USA, India, Japan, South Korea and even Nepal in support of democracy in Ukraine.
