Cтефан Романів, голова Союзу Українських Організацій Австралії (СУОА), вислав листа до Польського Cейму в справі «Aкції Вісла».
Mr Stefan Romaniw, chairman of the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) has sent a letter to the Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland regarding the issue of “Akcija Wisla” (”Operation Vistula”).

Akcja Wisła (Operation Vistula) was the codename for the 1947 forced resettlement of post-war Poland’s Ukrainian minority (including Boikos and Lemkos) to newly-acquired territories in the northern and western regions of Poland, carried out by the Polish Communist authorities. About 200,000 civilians residing in around Bieszczady and Low Beskids were forcibly resettled to formerly German territories ceded to Poland at the Yalta Conference at the end of World War II. The operation was named after the Vistula River, Wisła in Polish.Following the fall of communism in Eastern Europe, the operation was condemned by some Polish and Ukrainian politicians and historians. It has been described as ethnic cleansing by a number of Western and Polish sources, as well as by Ukrainians.
Операція «Вісла» — примусове переселення (депортація) українців з Лемківщини, Посяння, Підляшшя і Холмщини на ті території у західній та північній частині польської держави, що до 1945 належали Німеччині. Ця акція здійснена у 1947 році під керівництвом комуністичної влади Польщі. Около 200,000 цивільного населення було депортавино. Назва акції походить із ріки Вісли.
Після занепаду комуністичних урядів в східні Європі різні польські та українські історики та політичні діячі осудили Операцію «Вісла». Ця операція описана не тільки українцями а також різними західними і польськими джерелами яко етнічна чистка.
