Today we acknowledge the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The AFUO extends its deepest gratitude to the brave defenders of Ukraine – protectors of freedom, democracy and Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
Across Ukraine, these brave men and women have defended our peaceful cities and villages; liberated areas brutally occupied by russian aggressors; and fought bravely on the frontline in trenches and bunkers. Their sacrifices, strength and valour inspire us to do all that we can to support them.
We also pay our respects to their families, who face extraordinary fears and challenges because of their loved one’s courage and determination to resist russian aggression.
On this day, please give generously to the AFUO’s Defend Ukraine Appeal, so we can purchase more life-saving equipment for our servicemen and women. To date, Defend Ukraine Appeal has helped over 50 brigades with drones, generators, laptops, off-road vehicles, protective gear and more.
