AFUO NATIONAL UKRAINIAN COMMUNITY TASK FORCE –

The Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) announces the formation of the,
AFUO COVID 19 Corona Virus National Community Task Force.
The role of the task force is to better coordinate information dissemination and support services in the community during this time.

TASK FORCE TERMS OF REFERENCE
In response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation, AFUO will form a taskforce. This taskforce will provide community organisations with context on the information that is being provided by experts at the Department of Health.
The Taskforce will also assist in coordinating communal decisions to ensure that actions taken are in accordance with expert advice from Department of Health and do not create unnecessary panic within the community.
What the Taskforce will do:
- Provide expert context to enable community members to understand Department of Health advice and what that means for our organisations
- Provide access to a group of experts that can assist you in making informed decisions
- Provide information on medical and financial issues
- Coordinate require support
What are we encouraging our member organisations and the broader community to do:
- AFUO is here to assist and provide guidance before taking actions that may not been mandated by Government
- Engage with the Taskforce to discuss any confirmed cases of COVID-19 at your organisation
- Provide advice and support for community members in need
- Consider the effects this pandemic will have on your organisation. If you haven’t already activated your business continuity plan now is the time to do so
