We are fast approaching the third year since Russia launched its full-scale, illegal and immoral invasion of Ukraine.
While the world is grappling with multiple conflicts, Russia’s war in Ukraine continues to wreak havoc on Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
On 29 December 2023, Russia launched an unprecedented wave of ruthless missile and drone attacks on Ukraine – the largest since the start of the full-scale invasion. This deadly escalation – including hypersonic, cruise and ballistic missiles – has targeted cities across the country. Schools, maternity hospitals, residential buildings and parking lots have been destroyed.
The fight is far from over, but Australia can help end the war.
We are calling on the Albanese Government to provide more military aid to Ukraine now.
With Ukraine defending against the latest Russian aerial onslaught, now is the time to increase our calls on the Australian Government to provide more military aid to Ukraine.
You can help amplify our call to the Australian Government by reminding our political decision makers and the people that influence them about the atrocities that continue to occur.
You can also support our call for the Government to reverse its decision to bury the retired Taipan helicopters, rather than sending them to Ukraine as requested by the Ukrainian Government.
This decision is a huge missed opportunity and a significant and needless waste.
Ukraine needs modern Western helicopters to help it defend its freedom and democracy and save lives – these Taipans would be an enormous help.
