AUSTRALIA-UKRAINE BILATERAL RELATIONS FORUM “OzUke2015”

Australia-Ukraine bilateral relations forum “OzUke2015” will be one of the most important events  in the Australian –Ukrainian community in the last 25 years. The Forum will be held in Melbourne on 25 – 26 November 2015 at Rydges on Swanston, 701 Swanston Street, Melbourne.

It will build bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Australia.

The Australia-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) was initiated by the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) and is now a formally incorporated Association. OzUke2015 is being jointly organized  by these two structures. We are proud to have the support of the Governments of Australia and Ukraine. OzUke2015 will take place at the NGO and B2B levels to promote stronger ties between Australia and Ukraine in a new era of cooperation. It brings together Australian and Ukrainian civic and business leaders across range of industries: Energy, IT, Science and Education, Aerospace, Agriculture, Transport and Infrastructure.

A reciprocated forum is planned for Kyiv in 2016.

Goals:

• To facilitate exchange of ideas and grow relationships between Ukraine and Australia at the civil society / NGO and business levels
• To provide insights for Ukraine’s democratisation and economic liberalisation processes in the areas of governance, transparency and integrity, and multiculturalism
• To foster understanding of Australian approaches among the emerging generation of Ukraine’s civic leadership
• To promote opportunities in Ukraine among key Australian commercial operators, including through the participation of a business and stakeholder delegation from Ukraine to Melbourne

Австралійсько-український форум з розвитку двостороннього співробітництва “OzUke2015”

Австралійсько-український форум з розвитку двостороннього співробітництва OzUke2015 –одна з наймасштабніша за останні 25 років подій у двосторонній співпраці між Україною та Австралією – відбудеться 25 – 27 листопада 2015 року в місті Мельбурн (Австралія) готель Rydges on Swanston, 701 Swanston Street, Melbourne.

За ініцяітиву управи Cоюзу Українських Організацій Aвстралії (CУОA) створено Aвстралійсько-Українську Торговельну Палату, яка вже зареєстрована. Ці дві структури спільно організують цей Форум OzUke2015.

Програма заходу включає проведення представницької пленарної частини, дискусійних панелей за галузями економіки та у сфері NGO, презентацій провідних компаній обох країн, профільних B2B-переговорів та діалогу між представниками влади і бізнесу, а також відвідання підприємств-лідерів та профільних державних інституцій. Тематикою заходу визначено наступні сектори економіки: сільське господарство та харчова промисловість, енергетика та енергоефективність, IT, наука та освіта, аерокосмічна галузь, інфраструктура та транспорт.

OzUke2015 ставить на меті:

– сприяти обміну ідеями та зміцнювати відносини між Україною та Австралією у сферах розвитку демократії, громадянського суспільства та економічного співробітництва;

– підтримувати та взрощувати демократизацію та лібералізацію економічних процесів в Україні, в галузях управління, прозорості та цілісності влади та мультикультуралізму;

– сприяти розумінню та запровадженню найефективніших австралійських підходів серед нового покоління громадянського лідерства України;

– створювати та розширювати можливості в Україні для співпраці з основними австралійськими комерційними операторами, у тому числі шляхом запрошення до участі бізнес делегацію з України до Мельбурну.
