Заяви президента Ізраїлю не мають нічого спільного з історичними реаліями
Промова ізраїльського президента Реувен Рівліна у Верховній Раді на роковини трагедії у Бабиному Яру однозначно не сприяє примиренню та неупередженому дослідженню трагедії 75-річної давнини.
Адже сивочолий політик не лише поклав частину вини за цей акт геноциду на Організацію Українських Націоналістів, але й дозволив собі висловитися про причетність всього українського народу до цього злочину.
Організація Українських Націоналістів (бандерівців) звертає увагу на те, що українців знищували у Бабиному Яру поруч з євреями. В тому числі й за те, що вони намагалися ховати євреїв від переслідування нацистською владою. У Бабиному Яру знайшли спочинок десятки чільних діячів націоналістичного руху, зокрема й видатна українська поетеса Олена Теліга.
Члени ОУН (б), бійці УПА, настоятелі УГКЦ неодноразово з ризиком для власного життя рятували представників єврейського народу, чому є багато свідчень і незаперечних доказів. А оскільки ані України як держави, ані української влади не було під час Другої Світової війни на теренах Києва, українці та Україна навіть з точки зору міжнародного права не несуть відповідальності за злочини нацистів та деяких колаборантів на території України.
Насправді метою ОУН завжди була боротьба за незалежну Українську Державу проти всіх імперій та окупантів, у тому числі проти нацистської Німеччини та Радянського Союзу.
В той же час, пан Рівлін обійшов мовчанкою той факт, що сучасна Росія несе повну відповідальність за дискримінаційну антисемітську політику в часи Російської Імперії, у тому числі СРСР.
На жаль, заяви президента Держави Ізраїль зроблені на ґрунті цілеспрямованої масової дезінформації, яке ізраїльтяни його віку отримували десятиліттями з радянських пропагандистських джерел.
ОУН (б) рішуче відкидає звинувачення в колабораціонізмі й антисемітизмі і заявляє: біль через події в Бабиному Яру ізраїльського президента та всього єврейського народу не повинні тамуватися шляхом перекладання вини на інші народи та змушування їх до каяття.
Ще раз зазначимо, Організація Українських Націоналістів (бандерівців) разом з представниками всіх народів схиляє голову за невинно вбитими і поділяє цей біль з іншими, не залежно від національності.

Statements by the Israeli President Ignore Historical Reality
Israeli President’s Reuven Rivlin speech in the Parliament of Ukraine this week on the anniversary 75th Anniversary of Babyn Yar is clearly not conducive to reconciliation and to the furthering a greater understanding of this tragedy.
In his speech he not only apportioned part of the blame for this horrendous act of genocide on the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, but implicated the entire Ukrainian nation in this crime.
The Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists of Stepan Bandera is constrained to underscore the fact that Ukrainians were exterminated alongside Jews at Babyn Yar, trying to harbor Jews from Nazi persecution. Babyn Yar is the final resting place for many prominent figures of the nationalist movement, including prominent Ukrainian poetess Olena Teliha.
The members of OUN under the banner of Stepan Bandera, soldiers of UPA, and Ukrainian clergy repeatedly risked their own lives to save Jews. There are many well documented testimonies and irrefutable evidence of these occurrences.
During this period of WW II there was no Ukrainian State, nor were there Ukrainian government authorities in Kyiv. Even in terms of international law the Ukrainian nation cannot be held responsible for the crimes committed by Nazis and their collaborators on the territories of Ukraine.
In fact, the raison d’etre of OUN has always been to fight and struggle for an independent Ukrainian State against all who invaded or occupied Ukraine , including Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. Again this is well documented.
In his presentation Mr. Rivlin remained silent about the fact that the current Russian regime carries full responsibility for the discriminatory anti-Semitic policies of the former Russian Empire, including the Soviet Union.
The statement by the President of Israel is based on years of deliberate Soviet disinformation and propaganda, which Israelis of his generation were subjected to for decades.
The Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists of Stepan Bandera rejects accusations of anti-Semitism and collaboration and declares that the pain and trauma of Babyn Yar should not be cause for the Israeli President and the Jewish people to shift blame onto other nations and forcing them to repentance.
The Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists of Stepan Bandera, together with representatives of all dignified nations, bow their heads before the innocent victims of Babyn Yar and share the pain of this tragedy, irrespective of their nationality.
