In October 2023, Australian journalist Chris Uhlmann travelled to Ukraine to film the documentary ‘Forged in Fire’, which was shown on Nine Australia late last year.
The documentary featured an interview with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which has been released in full this month by the producers of the documentary, Screencraft.
In the interview President Zelenskyy emphasises the importance of ‘…be[ing] in this union, to show that people from different continents support our struggle, support our values. This is the most important thing, that the world has united around Ukraine….thank you [Australia] for your support, you are closer than you think.”
