Congratulations to our hard-working hromada in Queensland – Ukrainian Community of Queensland Inc. (UCQ) – for this amazing achievement, marking 75 years of settlement, preservation of culture, and representation to the wider Australian community.
Featuring enchanting bandura and traditional dance performances, and serving mouth-watering Ukrainian cuisine, the Gala hosted esteemed guest speakers such as local and federal MPs and the Ukrainian Ambassador Vasyl Myroshnychenko.
The 75th Anniversary Gala was a special evening of celebration, collaboration, and community spirit. Congratulations to all the organisers for holding such an impressive event to help the community enjoy and reminisce on their success and impact in Queensland!
And an extra congratulations for backing up such a significant celebration by being part of the Multicultural Australia LUMINOUS festival at Southbank. The UCQ stall was brimming with the rich traditions, crafts, and flavours of Ukraine – thank you for being such great ambassadors for our culture and community!
