Elizabeth Elliott felt compelled to help Ukrainians after watching and reading horror stories about Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Elizabeth’s third book of poetry, Tilting At Windmills, was recently launched in Newcastle, with all proceeds to be donated to the Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
Through the support of kind and compassionate Aussies such as Elizabeth, the AFUO’s Ukraine Crisis Appeal has raised over $9 million for much-needed humanitarian and emergency aid for Ukraine.
