The AFUO is deeply saddened that another former Australian soldier, Joel Stremski, has lost his life, whilst bravely fighting against Russian forces in eastern Ukraine.
We honour his courage, sacrifice and dedication to protecting others.
Our community’s thoughts are with Joel’s family during this unimaginably difficult time. We wish them comfort and strength, and will keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
We will also continue to pray that Russia’s war against Ukraine can be brought to an end, to stop the continued destruction and tragic loss of life.
