Dr Olesya Khromeychuk, historian, author and leading voice on Russia’s war against Ukraine, is visiting Australia between 2-12 February 2023.
Director of the Ukrainian Institute in London, Olesya has authored The Death of a Soldier Told by His Sister (2022), a moving story about the loss of the author’s brother fighting the Russian invasion in 2017.
Olesya was born in Ukraine, but has spent much of her life in the UK. She has taught the history of East-Central Europe at the University of Cambridge, University College London, the University of East Anglia, and King’s College London.
