In a webinar hosted in mid-May 2024 by the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA) Victoria, Dr Lawriwsky explores Russia’s propaganda narratives in the 2014-2021 period; how they faltered following the full-scale invasion; and how we can continue to counter russian disinformation which seeks to detract and deflect from the genocidal nature of its war in Ukraine.
Dr Lawriwsky, is an author, former chair of the Ukrainian Studies Foundation at Monash University, former editor for the Australian Ukrainian Review, and a former trustee of Melbourne’s Shrine of Remembrance. His career has included positions in academia, investment banking and consulting.
