The re-launched AFUO Medical Aid Subcommittee will build on the work of the AFUO’s International Coordination of Medical Aid Subcommittee (ICMAU), which sent over 280 pallets of critically needed medical aid to Ukraine from the start of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
The subcommittee is looking for volunteers who can commit a few hours a week to work with their friendly team, preferably with the following skills:
- Medical experience/expertise
- Medical procurement
- National and international supply chain experience
- Community engagement
- Government outreach and political engagement
- Partnerships and fundraising
- Marketing / Digital marketing
- Strategic/internal communications
- Financial experience
- Project management/rapid assessment and response initiatives
