Our #FreeTheHawkei campaign continues.
As politicians arrived in Canberra on Sunday 7 May and Monday 8 May, they were greeted by an enormous billboard just outside Canberra Airport. On the billboard, the vibrant colours of the Ukrainian flag unfurl behind a young girl holding a #FreeTheHawkei poster.
Corflutes in the ground with our #FreeTheHawkei campaign slogan lined the road leading out of the airport and closer to Parliament House.
We will continue to call for increased military aid from Australia. Australia has been one of Ukraine’s strongest partners during Russia’s brutal invasion.
With a commitment of more military aid, and the backing of our partners in freedom and democracy, Ukraine can achieve the ultimate goal of peace.
